Mayfair Capital Investment Management Annual Charity Quiz Evening

At the fifth Annual Quiz Evening arranged and hosted by Mayfair Capital Investment Management Limited some £17,000 was raised for Afghan Connection.

Afghan Connection is a charity that was founded in 2002 by Dr Sarah Fane to raise money and invest in education and health projects in Afghanistan. The charity has raised over 2.5 million since its inception.

The Quiz Master for the evening was broadcaster and comic writer Clive Anderson. The coveted trophy was won by a table shared by property lawyers Stepien Lake and private equity boutique Beaubridge LLP. James Thornton, Chief Investment Officer at Mayfair Capital said, "This is the fifth event we have hosted of this kind and this year we have raised a record amount. We are delighted to have supported Afghan Connection and wish the charity well in the future."

Charities supported by Mayfair Capital in the past include NSPCC, Help for Heroes, The Willow Foundation and a cricket charity, A Chance to Shine.
