Mayfair Capital Investment Management, the UK real estate investment manager, has made a significant senior hire with the appointment of Phil Sturdy, formerly European Director at Rockspring Property Investment Managers, as Investment Director to support the firm’s ambitious growth plans.
As Investment Director, Sturdy will report to Robert Palmer, Chief Investment Officer, and will have responsibility for deal origination and investment transactions across all funds. Sturdy has more than 18 years’ commercial property experience. Prior to joining Mayfair Capital, Sturdy spent 12 years with Rockspring, where he most recently held the position of European Director within their UK transactions group. He also spent six years at CBRE as a national investment agent and was elected a member of the RICS in 1999.
Mayfair Capital has also appointed Laura Sweet as an Asset Manager. Primarily responsible for assisting with the investment activities and asset management initiatives on two of Mayfair Capital’s advisory mandates the MCPUT and MCCPT. Prior to joining Mayfair Capital, Sweet spent nearly four years at Lambert Smith Hampton, the final two years of which were within the capital markets team.
